I really don't get the Harry Potter mania. But then, I don't have the attention span to read six books in a series...I couldn't get through the first one!
I'll bet this scene was repeated all over the country, much to the delight of English teachers everywhere. My house is quiet as a boy about that age brushes up on #6 while he waits for his sister to finish #7.
If I had to be somewhere on Saturday like a family picnic, that would have been me, too! As it was, I stayed in my room all afternoon reading. :) It was a fantastic day!
I've not read a single Harry Potter book or seen a single movie. But, maybe this winter, I'll put them on my "to read" and "to watch" list. There are definitely Harry Potter fans galore so makes me curious. :-)
